FOOL-PROOF Chocolate Chip Cookies

These delicious FOOL-PROOF Chocolate Chip Cookies are so simple and soooo easy to make! With a brown sugar based cookie dough, these cookies will have a crunchy edge and bottom, with a chewy top! The PERFECT cookie in my opinion!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter (227 g)
- 1 1/2 cup packed golden brown sugar (300 g)
- 1/2 cup sugar (100g)
- 2 large eggs
- 1 Tbs vanilla extract
- 3 cups All Purpose Flour (375 g)
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips (265 g)
- 1 cup dark chocolate chunks (150 g)
- For topping: 1 Tbs flakey sea salt

Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, and prep a cookie sheet with a piece of parchment paper
- While oven is preheating, begin cookie dough prep
- In a bowl, cream room temperature butter. Once butter is fluffed, add in sugars and mix until combined
- Add in eggs and vanilla and mix until well combined
- Slowly Mix in flour, baking powder and soda, and salt.
- Once a dough forms, fold in chocolate chips and chunks
- Using a small cookie scoop, scoop out 1.5 ounce (43 grams)
- Bake for 12-13 minutes, until gooey on top and golden brown on the bottom. Once out of the oven, tap pan on the counter to flatten cookies and sprinkle with sea salt. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving!
